The Global Six Sigma Awards 2007
The winners of the 2007 Global Six Sigma Awards were announced at The Gala Awards Dinner and Ceremony on Wednesday October 24th at The Rio All-Suite Hotel in Las Vegas.
Guest speaker at the dinner was Tim Solso, Chairman & CEO of Cummins Inc, who won The Six Sigma CEO of the Year Award.
Winner of the Platinum Award for Most Outstanding Organizational Achievement Through Six Sigma sponsored by Genpact is Valley Baptist Health System.
Winner of the Six Sigma Vice President of the Year Award, is Dr Tomas Gonzalez, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Strategy and Six Sigma Quality at Valley Baptist Health System.
The winners of the organizational categories were:
- Best Achievement of Design for Six Sigma and Innovation sponsored by Air Academy Associates – ATMI
- Best Achievement of Integrating Lean and Six Sigma – BMO Financial Group
- Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Financial Services – BMO Financial Group
- Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Healthcare – Valley Baptist Health System
- Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Manufacturing – Lonmin plc
- Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Outsourcing – WNS Global Services (P) Ltd
- Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Sales & Marketing – Unisys
- Best Achievement of Six Sigma in Service & Transactional Environments – Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation
